As a part of the grand vision for an empowered, healthy and vibrant society, the Usha & Haridas Charitable Trust was instituted to extend yeoman service to needy sections of society. The trust is established to make a meaningful impact on individuals and institutions through three channels of assistance – educational assistance, medical assistance and relief.
The trust extends educational assistance to individuals and institutions through scholarships and by sponsoring requirements to enable the weaker sections of society to access elementary and higher education. Medical assistance is granted to individuals in desperate need of funds for meeting medical expenses. Assistance to institutions and clinics is another dimension of activities, to expand the reach of healthcare to far flung areas and clinics in need of assistance.
Financial assistance to the disadvantaged of society is key area of focus of the trust. Socioeconomic status often deprives individuals and families of food, water, clothing and study material.
